Mens Suits For Weddings
Is a ‘male bride’ necessarily a bad thing?
I know society generally does’nt like anything outside general norms, but if we are supposedly more tolerant, there must be lots of guys who love their wives to be, but wish they could dress as the bride as well. Is this really such a bad thing. Some guys look good in dresses. Maybe it would make weddings more fun. Maybe it would make males more understanding if it was suggested they wear the dress on the day, and have all the stress relating to it.
By the way I am not saying this to mock the sanctity of marriage, on the real day you could be in suit, and she in a dress, but why not have a mock up rehearsal where the groom could be the bride, what would be the harm in it? I know some bridal shops will cater for male brides (they did for me!), most bridal shops frown at this and won’t do it. Fair enough. But would’nt it be fun? Everyone knows womens clothes are way way better than mens anyway.
I’m all for it if that’s what they want to do. I don’t think anyone has the right to tell them they can’t do it. Some women get married in trouser suits, right? This is no different.
