Rose Petals For Weddings
What should bridemaids carry?
I’d rather not buy flower bouquets for my bridesmaids since I was in two weddings recently and used my flowers for a total of about 20 minutes before I ended up losing them or laying them down to wilt somewhere.
I’m thinking of having the bridesmaids wear wrist corsages (they’ll be walking down with the groomsmen), carry baskets of rose petals, or carry a claddagh ornament (we’re having an Irish themed wedding, but more specifically claddagh since we love the symbolism behind it). I would add a longer ribbon to the ornament http://www.oconnorsinc.com/site/product.cfm?id=4240ACFD-9FA2-4066-E4D6696FD27163BD and they would carry them like they would a rosary while wearing white gloves.
